The rooms at Maritim Hotel Bad Wildungen are simply amazing. As a light sleeper, I was blown away by the tranquility and peacefulness of the room. The tasteful furnishings and wonderful views of the spa gardens made me feel relaxed and at ease. The comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep.
The only thing I personally didn't like about the room was the seating area. It just didn't appeal to my taste.

Location is great and public areas like restaurant and pool in good shape.
Room size and decor clearly show that this hotel is older and need some touch up or renovation. Charme of the 70ties. Tryed to print a pdf which I had on my usb stick, while the hotel provides a computer for doing so, the printer was out of order ( toner empty and printer showed that printer must be cleaned). I asked for help at the reception but even it was friday morning 9:30 the staff told me that the responsible it staff was not on duty and therefore they could not help. Not a big deal but for a chain which is specialised on meetings clearly not their finest hour, that you can not even print out a single page in the whole hotel.

Easter at this hotel was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was abundant and had good quality options. The location close to the main boulevard with restaurants and cafes made our stay more comfortable, as we didn't have to walk much to find a place to eat. , the big rooms offered enough space to rest and move around.
The parking fees charged were extremely high and disappointing considering the remote location of the hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel seemed more geared towards business travelers rather than families or couples, which did not help create a warm and relaxed environment.

Our Easter break was less than perfect. We were disappointed with the expensive prices for parking, far from the city center.
